By Daily Express reporter MICHAEL JACKSON’S family is bringing joy to his three children by celebrating a traditional Christmas, even though most of their relatives shun the Christian holiday.
Grandmother and guardian Katherine Jackson, 79, is a devout Jehovah’s Witness. But a source said yesterday: “She’s determined to give Michael’s kids a normal time.”
And Jackson’s brother Jermaine, 55, who converted to Islam, is allowing his two youngest children, Jaafar, 13, and Jermajesty, nine, to join in the festivities.
They have become “extremely close” to Michael’s children Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II, aka Blanket, seven, since the legend died six months ago.
A tree was delivered to the family compound in the LA suburb of Encino last week.

MICHAEL Jackson's kids are back home after spending Christmas away from their gran to enjoy the celebrations their father was denied.
Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, seven, live with the pop legend's mum Katherine, 79 - a Jehovah's Witness.
She banned Jacko from celebrating Christmas on religious grounds, a decision blamed for his adult love of childhood.
The trio spent the holiday with nanny Grace Rwaramba, away from the California home they share with Katherine.
A source said: "Katherine tried but found it hard so they went with Grace. They were lavished with gifts and festive treats." Jacko died aged 50 from heart failure in Los Angeles in June.

La Toya Jackson is committed to continuing the charitable work begun by her beloved brother Michael with AIDS Project LA before his untimely death. From bagging groceries in the APLA to meeting with APLA clients, this is only the beginning of what will be a lifelong dedication by La Toya in supporting the fight against AIDS.
The children of Michael Jackson returned to Encino after spending Christmas with their nanny Grace Rwaramba.
The children, Prince Michael, Paris and Prince Michael II, are in the permanent guardianship of their grandmother, Katherine. Her religion, Jehovah's Witness, does not observe Christmas.
Michael was reportedly banned from celebrating the holiday on religious grounds when he was growing up.
The children are clearly not being coerced to become Jehovah's Witnesses. Their aunt, La Toya (pictured), last year told The View they were given free reign over their faith and allowed to choose just as she and her siblings had been.
A source said: 'Katherine tried but found it hard so they went with Grace. They were lavished with gifts and festive treats.'
