Some have wondered…

Isn't this similar to the situation the Governing Body faced back in the 1980s, when the controversial video "Thriller" was released by Michael Jackson, at that time a baptized Jehovah's Witness in "good standing"?

Well we have to remember, Serena has said many times in the press, she loves being a Jehovah's Witness, which means she would never willingly disassociate herself from the JW organization, the way Michael Jackson did after he released the "Thriller" video in the 80's. However think, if Michael Jackson had not been so cooperative and been so willing to remove himself from the JW organization back in the 80's, isn't it true the governing body might have had a special headache to deal with, like they do present-day with Serena Williams.

...something to think about, wouldn't you say???

...Remember, she is an "approved associate" who goes out in field service...right???

All of this proves:

a) the governing body 2.0 has lost all of Jehovah's Spirit, as they are permitting something that the governing body 1.0 of the 1980s would not permit. (See AWAKE! May 22nd, 1984, p.19)

b) this is without a doubt the EASIEST way to show a BELIEVING JW the fact that the JW organization has lost it's way in this world. (As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.)

c) this also proves the governing body 2.0, is no doubt "on the take" from rich, affluent JWs (like Michael Jackson's mother, who publicly celebrates birthdays with JW judicial immunity).

Hi all,

Doing more research on this topic ("approved associate"), here is what I found out:

There is an update on the term "approved associate" currently taught by Jehovah's Witnesses. The corrective information says:

w 1988 11/15 p.17 Helping Others to Worship God
***

Previously, an unbaptized person who qualified to share in the field ministry was termed an “approved associate.” However, “unbaptized publisher” is a more accurate designation, especially in view of the Biblical indication that God’s approval results from a valid dedication and Christian baptism.

End of quote.

So, now we know, Jehovah's Witnesses don't use the expression: "approved associate" for their Unbaptized field service participants anymore. To Jehovah's Witnesses, a person is NOT fully "approved" until he or she is baptized. However, they can still go out in field service and "preach righteousness" [see 2 Peter 2:5] to others in the territory, in and among other baptized Jehovah's Witnesses. But, the person doing this, should be viewed as being... NOT "approved"... while he or she is "preaching righteousness" to others ... Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Now, what do you think of that brilliant idea ... by the Governing Body, of course???
